- Lead a variety of dance-based classes (e.g., Zumba, Ballroom, Latin, contemporary, barre, intuitive dance, cardio dance, and mindful movement) tailored to a wide range of fitness levels and guest interests.
- Infuse each session with creativity, rhythm, and mindful awareness to help guests connect to their bodies and emotions through movement.
- Design dance-inspired fitness programs that enhance cardiovascular health, coordination, strength, and self-expression.
- Offer special classes and workshops that blend dance with mindfulness, cultural celebration, or emotional release.
- Provide personalized training sessions with a focus on dance conditioning, mobility, and fitness goals.
- Incorporate breathwork, body awareness, and intentional movement into all sessions to support mind-body integration.
- Empower guests through movement, offering compassionate guidance and celebrating progress at every stage.
- Educate guests on safe alignment, injury prevention, and developing a joyful, sustainable movement practice.
- Collaborate with the wellness, spa, and fitness teams to create integrated experiences (e.g., dance + sound healing, movement meditation, or spa & stretch).
- Contribute to seasonal programming, retreats, and signature Miraval experiences that showcase dance as a pathway to well-being.
- Stay current on global fitness and dance trends, continually refreshing the class schedule with new styles and innovative experiences.
- Maintain studio cleanliness, music and fitness equipment, and class ambiance to ensure an elevated guest experience.
- Ensure all sessions meet safety standards, cultural sensitivities, and align with Saudi Arabia’s wellness regulations.
- Support guest assessments and progress tracking through mindful consultation and observation.
- Actively and mindfully promote paid private sessions, group classes, spa and wellness programs, and exclusive events through outstanding guest engagement and personalized recommendations.
- Collaborate with the spa, wellness and retail teams to cross-sell relevant services and retail items.
- Deliver service with warmth, sincerity, and deep product knowledge, naturally encouraging guests to explore more of what Miraval has to offer.
- Contribute to departmental revenue goals by meeting personal upselling targets in an authentic and guest-centric way.
- Conduct routine checks on all Fitness equipment to ensure proper function and cleanliness.
- Immediately report any equipment issues or hazards to management and take appropriate action to remove or replace compromised tools.
- Ensure all sessions follow proper health, safety, and sanitation protocols in line with Saudi Arabia’s regulations and Miraval’s standards.
- Guide guests through movements with careful attention to alignment, form, and modifications to prevent injury.
- Stay certified in CPR, First Aid, or other safety certifications as required by the resort.
- Share expertise with other instructors and mentor team members in movement expression and class design.
- Engage in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development through Miraval’s continuous learning.
- Support resort-wide events and guest engagement through special performances, themed wellness weeks, and fitness showcases.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to showcase dance programming through content creation, guest stories, and promotional features.
- Represent Miraval’s fitness philosophy at wellness events, online platforms, and within the broader well-being community.
- Gather and respond to guest feedback to evolve class offerings and maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Certification in Group Fitness Instruction, Dance Fitness (e.g., Zumba, Barre, Latin, Ballroom or similar), and/or Personal Training (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year experience teaching dance-based fitness classes in a wellness retreat, resort, or studio environment.
- Strong foundation in at least one or more dance styles (e.g., Latin, contemporary, ballet, African, ballroom, hip-hop, or cultural dances).
- Additional certifications in Yoga, Barre, Functional Training, Somatics, or other fitness disciplines are a strong advantage.
- Experience incorporating mindfulness, somatic practices, or breathwork into fitness or dance sessions.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).

- Sensitive to diverse cultural and physical needs, with the ability to create a welcoming and safe space for all guests.
