The Senior Manager – Operational Interface is a strategic leadership role responsible for orchestrating seamless integration between the Transport Business Unit (TBU) and other Qiddiya projects, ensuring operational alignment across all design, engineering, construction, and operational functions. The position demands exceptional capability in managing complex, multi-stakeholder interfaces to guarantee that transport projects not only connect flawlessly within the Qiddiya ecosystem but also deliver on Vision 2030 ambitions. This role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in operational coordination, infrastructure delivery, and stakeholder diplomacy, capable of anticipating challenges, mitigating risks, and driving cross-functional collaboration at the highest levels.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the central coordination authority for all operational interfaces within the TBU, ensuring alignment of objectives, timelines, and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate integration between transport projects and broader Qiddiya initiatives, including utilities, public realm, and city-wide infrastructure, to optimize connectivity and operational performance.
  • Lead high-level collaboration between design, engineering, construction, and operations teams to resolve interdependencies and conflicts proactively.
  • Represent Qiddiya in strategic meetings, workshops, and forums with government entities, regulatory bodies, and private sector partners to address operational interface requirements.
  • Develop and execute strategies for seamless interface management, embedding best practices in coordination, documentation, and governance.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve interface challenges early in the project lifecycle, minimizing risk and preventing delays.
  • Oversee compliance of all operational interfaces with local regulations, safety standards, and international best practices.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with regulators, government agencies, delivery partners, and community stakeholders to enable collaborative decision-making.
  • Establish performance metrics to monitor interface effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to interface management teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
RequirementsQualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Education from a top-tier global institution highly desirable.
Years of experience
  • 12–15 years of progressive experience in transportation project delivery, operational integration, or stakeholder coordination, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in giga-projects, major urban developments, or large-scale infrastructure programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks, governance structures, and Vision 2030 priorities.
Professional Certifications (if required)
  • Project management, systems integration, or interface management certifications preferred.
