- Lead the qualitative and quantitative analysis of institutional, regulatory, and economic dimensions of the electric power sector covering regulators, utilities, renewable energy, commercial nuclear power.
- Design, conduct and disseminate Knowledge and Analysis products through effective communication approaches including workshops, webinars, papers, and presentations that meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Carry out cutting edge analyses using state-of-the-art qualitative and quantitative techniques via case studies, statistical analyses, international comparisons, and strategic assessments.
- Previous experience in qualitative and quantitative research, preferably within a research or international organization.
- Thorough knowledge of the electric power sector with direct experience with regulatory strategy and organization, commercial nuclear power.
- Strong experience in drafting, editing and producing evidence-based policy papers, working papers, reports and other publications.
- Strong communication skills, an enthusiastic team player, and excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- A Ph.D. in economics, operations research, public policy, or a related field. Alternatively, a master's degree with sufficient research experience
- A minimum of 8 years' professional experience with energy utility regulation.
