The company currently employs a workforce of 16,000 in the Middle East, and a total of 19,000 worldwide.Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the steel structure package, ensuring its successful execution within the project timeline and budget. This pivotal role demands strong leadership, extensive knowledge of steel construction, and meticulous attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure the seamless integration of steel structures into the overall construction project.

Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop a comprehensive strategy for the steel structure package, aligning with overall project goals.
Contribute to the development of project plans, budgets, and schedules specific to the steel structure package.
Ensure compliance with all terms and conditions of the package contract.
Lead and manage the steel structure team, providing technical expertise in the design, planning and execution of steel fabrication, erection, and assembly.
Review design drawings and specifications for cost saving and value engineering alternatives.
Oversee the procurement of steel materials, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient coordination and execution of steel structure activities.
Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that steel structure meets industry standards, specifications, and project requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Manage and optimize resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to achieve maximum efficiency.
Identify potential risks associated with steel structure construction and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and ensure project continuity.
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on the construction site, fostering a culture of safety among the steel structure team.
Take care of the contractual and financial follow-up and budget control
Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the steel structure package, fostering strong relationships with internal and external project teams.
Provide regular updates and reports to project leadership and clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Extensive experience in managing steel structure packages for very large building projects.
Able to anticipate and set challenging targets, while monitoring simultaneous activities
Result oriented, you plan, monitor and report progress.
Manage your own project budget and take effective decisions based on personal confidence.
Identify problems and develop/recommend solutions.
Experience working with Chinese subcontractors is preferred.
Excellent English language skills. Additional languages, especially Arabic can be a plus.
Open to work across all countries of the Middle East and willing to travel internationally.
