- Provide on-site supervision and technical support for ELV system construction activities, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that ELV works are executed according to project plans, schedules, and budget constraints.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Review and approve ELV system shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements submitted by contractors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical, and architectural, to ensure integration and coordination of ELV works with overall project requirements.
- Resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and conflicts related to ELV design and construction activities, and provide timely solutions to keep the project on track.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, highlighting key accomplishments, challenges, and upcoming activities.
- Conduct site meetings with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to discuss project progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing ELV system construction works in Saudi Arabia.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and site staff, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to enhance their skills and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ELV engineering, with a focus on site supervision for construction consultancy projects.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in ELV systems, including security systems, telecommunications, audiovisual systems, and building automation.
- Proven experience in site supervision, construction management, and quality control/assurance for projects such as universities, hotels, residential buildings, and office complexes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with project stakeholders and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
- Knowledge of local regulations and construction practices in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
