Job Summary:We are seeking a hardworking and experienced Duct Man to install, fabricate, and maintain ductwork for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The ideal candidate should be able to read and follow blueprints, install duct systems accurately, and ensure all work complies with building codes and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine layout and routing of duct systems.Measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal and flexible ducts using hand and power tools.Install ducts, vents, and air distribution systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.Secure ductwork with hangers, brackets, and supports.Seal joints and connections to prevent air leakage using appropriate materials (e.g., mastic, tape).Modify existing duct systems during retrofits or renovations.Coordinate with HVAC technicians, electricians, and other trades to ensure proper system integration.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.Follow all safety regulations and site procedures.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Experience as a duct installer, sheet metal worker, or in HVAC installation.Ability to read construction drawings and layout ductwork accordingly.Familiarity with HVAC systems and components.Skilled in using sheet metal tools (snips, brakes, shears, etc.).Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in tight or elevated spaces.Knowledge of safety practices and PPE use.Preferred Certifications:OSHA 10/30HVAC Technician Certificate (optional)Sheet Metal Worker Certification (if applicable)First Aid/CPRWorking Conditions:Work may be done indoors or outdoors depending on the project.Often performed in construction sites, attics, basements, or rooftops.May involve working in confined spaces or at heights.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.Apply at :
