The Mechanical Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical and piping work meets the project's quality standards. This includes inspecting materials and workmanship, conducting tests, and preparing inspection reports. The Mechanical Quality Control Inspector also works with the QA Manager and project engineers to identify and resolve quality issues.The key responsibilities include:
1. Raise requests for inspection RFIs and coordinating with Clients QC team to ensure to meet all quality targets of the projects and abide the quality inspection guidelines of the project.
2. Raise non-conformance reports as deemed necessary and follow up the corrective actions.
3. Compile all inspection reports and maintain the records for final documentation purposes as per projects guidelines.
4. Follow up the quality execution of the team, inspection of materials during purchasing and reviewing the documentation of materials as per project requirements.
5. Coordinate with third party inspection labs and technicians as mandated by the Inspection Test Plan.
6. Prepare Inspection Test Plan and review third party reports and take the proper actions.
