Freyssinet Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer/ QC to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a variety of challenging and rewarding projects. As a Civil Engineer/ QC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control, from material inspection to final project handover. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, quality control procedures, and relevant industry standards.Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
  • Identify and document non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address quality-related issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and quality control activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality control data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices in quality control.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality management systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality control within the construction industry, specifically in civil engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and quality control procedures.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Valid professional certifications related to quality control are preferred.
