Position Overview:
As a Senior Architectural Designer with 12+ years of experience, you will play a crucial role in leading the design process from conception to completion. Your prior experience should demonstrate proficiency in overseeing projects from the initial design phase through construction and handover. Additionally, prior experience working within the GCC region is highly desirable, although not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development process, including conceptualization, schematic design, and design development, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to coordinate design efforts and achieve project objectives.
- Utilize your expertise in architectural principles and design techniques to produce innovative and functional design solutions that meet both aesthetic and practical requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and production of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior design team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and reviews to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architecture and design, incorporating relevant advancements into project designs as appropriate.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in architectural design, with a demonstrated track record of leading design projects from conception to completion.
- Proficiency in architectural software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
- Prior experience working within the GCC region is an added advantage.
