Job DescriptionQualifications:1. Education / Licensure:1. Bachelor degree of Medicine and Surgery from an accredited university in the country of professional practice (Essential).2. Postgraduate qualification with two years of accredited training program in the field of Anesthesia from an accredited medical organization in the country of professional practice (Essential).3. Classified and Registered by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (Essential).2. Professional Experience:1. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the specialty of Anesthesiology in an acute health care/hospital setting (100 bed or more) (Essential).Requirements and ResponsibilitiesPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:1.Carry on the services usually required in the practice of anesthesiology, for the establishment of anesthesia or to render the patient insensible to pain; for instance patients undergoing surgical procedures, maneuvers or examinations under the supervision and/or the approval of a consultant anesthesiologist.2.Provide appropriate pre-anesthesia and post anesthesia management of the patient.3.Provide life support functions during the administration of anesthesia including the induction and intubation procedures.4.Provides life support functions anywhere in the hospital during on-call duties.5.Provides consultation relating to respiratory care and special problems related to ophthalmic anesthesia.6.Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment with Consultant Anesthesiologist, CRNAs, Respiratory Therapists and Registered Nurses.7.Demonstrates proficiency in Basic Life Support.8.Performs all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner.9.Performs all other related duties as required or assigned.
