- Design and develop state-of-the-art communication systems for space missions, including satellites and spacecraft.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate communication systems into space vehicles and ensure seamless communication throughout the mission.
- Perform analysis and simulations to optimize the performance of communication systems in space.
- Ensure the reliability and robustness of communication systems in harsh space environments.
- Conduct tests and experiments to validate the performance and functionality of communication systems.
- Maintain documentation and records of communication system designs, specifications, and test results.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in space communication technologies and incorporate them into system designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of space communications principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing communication systems for space missions.
- Familiarity with spacecraft communication standards, such as CCSDS.
- Proficiency in simulation tools used for analyzing space communication systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with software-defined radios and RF communication systems is a plus.
