Reporting to Senior Project Manager / Director (Data Centre Experience is an Advantage)He will lead and manage construction projects on behalf of clients, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion. This includes managing programmes, budgets, risks, quality, stakeholder expectations, and consultant/contractor teams to achieve the client’s strategic and operational objectives.Key Responsibilities:
-Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing confident leadership, clear communication, and professional advice.-Lead project delivery from feasibility, business case development, and design management through to procurement, construction, and handover.-Prepare and maintain project execution plans, programmes, and risk registers.-Manage project budgets, ensuring robust cost control, change management, and value engineering as required.-Procure and manage consultant teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective collaboration and delivery performance.-Chair and lead project meetings, issuing accurate minutes and actions in a timely manner.-Report regularly to senior management and clients on progress, risks, and opportunities.-Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout project lifecycle.-Support business development activities, including preparation of bids, fee proposals, and presentations.-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and team development within the consultancy.Key Skills and Experience:
1. Degree qualified in Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.2. Professional qualification (or working towards) such as MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, or equivalent.3. Proven track record in managing construction projects within consultancy or client-side environments.4. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, forms of contract, procurement strategies, and programme management.5.
