- Responsible for managing and growing Cepheid business within the assigned geography for both customer accounts and prospect accounts including, but not limited to, institutional hospitals, private laboratories and POC settings.
- Drive a complex, multi-departmental sale from the introduction of new diagnostic concepts through closure and implementation.
- Negotiate and manage contracts and tenders with Key Accounts.
- Introduce and develop new testing in Eastern region hospitals/Labs
- Develop demand for, and adoption of, new assays and instrumentation.
- Work closely with internal resources such as Clinical solutions team, Field Application Specialists and Marketing to develop and implement customer & region -specific sales strategies.
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals
- Host and assist with product shows
- Manage customer data in the company CRM (Salesforce.com).
- Achieve instrument and reagent sales goals
- Leverage the DBS tools to solve problems and sustain results.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in a sales position.
- Strong track record of sales success, specifically in selling high value products
- Expertise with demand creation and multi-departmental hospital sales is a plus
- Diagnostic/ Laboratory experience is a Plus
- Knowledge of the different business models in the Diagnostics industry, GPPRR, RR etc...
- Priority for candidates who know the Saudi market (specially the Eastern Region)
- Fluent in English & Arabic
- Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills
- Customer focus and relationship building skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Have a sense of urgency
- Skilled in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled using a CRM application(s) such as Salesforce.com or others
- Travel 50-75% mainly in Eastern region of Saudi
