Our client is leading European MEP Contractor. We are seeking a Commissioning Manager for a Hyber Scale data Centre Project in Riyadh. As the Commissioning Manager you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the commissioning activities on a project to ensure that all systems and components are installed, tested, and functioning according to the design intent and project specifications. This role ensures a smooth transition from construction to operation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the overall commissioning plan and schedule.
  • Lead the commissioning team, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, operations, and engineering teams to align commissioning activities with project milestones.
  • Review and approve commissioning procedures, method statements, and checklists.
  • Ensure all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Oversee the development and execution of commissioning documentation including ITPs, FATs, SATs, and O&M manuals.
  • Manage the handover process and ensure all systems meet performance criteria before client sign-off.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to systems performance.
  • Report progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or related discipline).
  • 7+ years of experience in commissioning roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead capacity.
  • Experience with large-scale projects in sectors such as construction, data canters, oil & gas, utilities, or renewables.
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning standards and procedures
  • Familiarity with commissioning software tools and digital reporting systems.
