Plant Accountant (Saudi National)Overview:
The Plant Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing all financial transactions, reporting, and cost controls within a manufacturing plant. This role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with Saudi regulations, and supports strategic decision-making to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations specific to plant operations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reconciliations
Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to predict future revenues and expenses
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management activities; assist in annual budget preparation and new standard cost setting
Monitor and analyze production and inventory costs, providing detailed variance analysis and cost control recommendations
Ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls
Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and ensure adherence to relevant compliance frameworks
Collaborate with plant management to provide financial insights and support operational decision-making
Manage fixed asset capitalization, inventory adjustments, and related documentation
Participate in month-end close processes, journal entry preparation, and bank reconciliations
Support payroll processing and address employee queries related to compensation and benefits
Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Deep understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing operations
Knowledge of Saudi Arabian tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirements
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to work with sensitive information
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English required, Arabic is an advantage.
Saudi nationality required (per Saudization policies).
