
Tendring & Operation Manager - Furniture in KSA

- Lead end-to-end tendering activities including analysis of RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs.
- Review and approve bid documents ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Estimation, Legal, Finance, Procurement) for input into tender submissions.
- Maintain a calendar of upcoming tenders and ensure timely submission.
- Develop and implement tendering strategies aligned with business goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and pricing strategies to position bids competitively.
- Identify target projects and develop capture plans.
- Lead a team of tendering professionals, estimators, and planners.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, JV partners, and subcontractors during tender stages.
- Facilitate bid/no-bid decisions in coordination with senior management.
- Conduct risk analysis for tenders and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and pricing of bids in coordination with the estimation team.
- Ensure optimal balance between competitive pricing and profitability.
- Lead negotiations with clients post-submission as required.
- Ensure smooth handover of successful bids to the project execution team.
- Conduct post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum 1215 years of experience in tendering and strategic planning, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes in [relevant industry e.g., construction, oil & gas, EPC].
- Proven track record of successful bid wins for large-scale projects.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- High attention to detail and deadline orientation.
- Knowledge of contractual and legal aspects of tendering.
- Proficiency in MS Office, tendering software (e.g., Candy, Primavera, etc.), and ERP systems.
