We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Field Service Biomedical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This critical role involves traveling to various healthcare facilities, hospitals, and clinics to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a diverse range of complex medical equipment. If you are passionate about applying your engineering skills to support life-saving technology and thrive in a hands-on, problem-solving environment, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Installation & Commissioning: Perform expert installation, calibration, and commissioning of new medical equipment according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory guidelines.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on medical devices to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and longevity, adhering to maintenance schedules and quality standards.
Corrective Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex technical issues in medical equipment, including mechanical, electrical, software, and networking components, often under pressure.
Technical Support & Training: Provide comprehensive technical support and training to clinical staff on the proper operation, basic troubleshooting, and care of medical equipment.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including installation reports, maintenance logs, repair histories, and inventory of parts used. Generate regular service reports and provide feedback to engineering and sales teams.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with healthcare facility staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and effective problem resolution.
Inventory Management: Manage field service inventory, including tools, spare parts, and test equipment.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all service activities comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC), safety regulations, hospital policies, and company procedures. Stay updated on new technologies and regulatory changes.
On-Call & Travel: Participate in an on-call rotation and travel extensively within [mention region/country, e.g., the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia] to client sites, often at short notice.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or Biomedical Equipment Technician, ideally within the medical device industry or a hospital setting.Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of medical device principles, electronics, mechanical systems, and software.
Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems.
Experience with test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, safety analyzers).
Familiarity with network connectivity and IT aspects of medical devices is a plus.
Hands-on experience with [mention specific equipment types if highly relevant, e.g., imaging systems, laboratory analyzers, patient monitors, surgical equipment] is highly desirable.Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic (essential for local market).

Valid Saudi driving license and a clean driving record.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
Ability to lift and move equipment as required.
