- Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Lead site safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols and hazard control measures.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures to minimize workplace incidents.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on HSE practices and emergency response plans.
- Monitor and report on incidents, root causes, and corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure legal compliance and handle audits and inspections.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety performance and awareness.
- Maintain documentation and records related to safety inspections, incident reports, and training sessions.
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a health, safety, and environment (HSE) role, preferably within an industrial or engineering setting.
- Prove track record as an HSE Engineer or in a similar safety-focused leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety regulations and international HSE standards.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
