- Develop and execute comprehensive public realm and landscaping strategies that promote accessibility, usability, and aesthetic beauty within Qiddiya.
- Lead the design process for parks, plazas, walkways, and other outdoor spaces, ensuring alignment with the overall vision of Qiddiya.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate public realm and landscaping elements with architectural and urban design proposals.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality control through all phases of public realm development.
- Conduct community engagement initiatives to gather input and feedback on design proposals, fostering a sense of ownership among future users.
- Lead assessments of public space performance and user experiences, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Implement sustainable practices in landscape design and maintenance to enhance ecological health and resilience.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and design proposals for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor and support junior team members in design and project management practices.
- Stay informed of industry trends, materials, and technologies related to public realm and landscaping.
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in landscape architecture, urban design, or public space design, with significant leadership experience.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale public realm and landscaping projects.
- Strong understanding of sustainable landscape practices, materials, and ecological considerations.
- Exceptional design portfolio that demonstrates creativity, innovation, and successful outcomes in landscape architecture and public space design.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse groups and stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and landscape modeling tools.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to design and project evaluation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and lead initiatives that foster teamwork and creativity.
