Carry out onsite mechanical maintenance activities, such as disassembly, assembly, inspection, repair, modification and overhaul of mechanical components and parts within the designated area of responsibility. Ensure that field mechanical for rotating and static Equipment activities and jobs are carried out in accordance with SATORP's standards, specifications and procedures.Key Duties, Responsibility & Accountabilities:1. To lead and coordinate the day to-day maintenance activities.
2. Coordinate when required, works activities with M&R on static and mechanical equipment's maintenance.
3. Contribute to the implementation in SAP PM of maintenance plans and strategies (corrective, preventive and predictive) in coordination with all concerned personnel.
4. Lead the activities of static equipment staffs to ensure their adherence to the Company policies and procedures and all works completed are within the specified plans and standards.
5. Develops and maintain a database on the status of static and mechanical equipment.
6. Keep a record of all information with regards to external workshops performance and services quality and participate in setting and measuring their Key Performance Indicators.
7. Provide an input to static and mechanical equipment's maintenance plans and schedules according to risk based maintenance and availability of spare parts, resources and tools in order minimize downtime and disruption to production operations.
8. Liaise together with workshop supervisor to ensure equipment, tools and materials; and ensure is systematically logged, maintained and properly calibrated and certified.
9. Ensure that all safety measures and requirements are properly adhered to by all static and mechanical equipment's personnel.
10. Ensure SATORP's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) policies/programs are implemented within the static equipment's services section either in internal workshops or external workshops.
11. Ensure that all static and mechanical equipment's personnel are technically qualified and certified receiving adequate and permanent training for their activities to improve job performance.
12. Perform ongoing inspections to ensure the quality of the works achieved.
13. Assist in managing static and mechanical equipment's service contractors ensuring contractual compliance, contract budget control and ensuring quality and effective maintenance response/service.
14. Keep a record of all information with regards to external workshops performance and services quality and participate in setting and measuring their Key Performance Indicators.
15. Plan and assign critical static and mechanical equipment's personnel, materials and equipment and maintain direct communications with area operations and area maintenance personnel to coordinate and prioritize works.
16. Coordinate with the Logistic Section to ensure the appropriate stock levels of all required spare parts, materials, equipment and tools.
17. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (degree, training, or certification required)
- High school or Technical/ Vocational Diploma or, Associate Degree
- +10 years of experience in similar technical/ industrial field of work
- Strong knowledge in general maintenance and repair activities.
- Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and working procedures.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and documentation.
- Good contracts administration and management skills.
- Capable of giving strong attention to details.
- Good command of oral and written English.
