Title: Construction ManagerJob Description:1.Position objective and general responsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Oil and Gas Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects within Saudi Arabia. As an integral member of a multi-discipline team, become fully aware of the FEED & EPC schedule, site activities and project goals. To establish and maintain a good working relationship and communication with other site team members, advise areas of concern in terms of constructability and take an active role in implementation and closure of constructability action items. Participate in resolution of design related issues and ensure construction considerations are implemented into the design. As a member of the KBR team, foster and maintain the one team approach and to take an active role in the health, safety and welfare of all project personnel.2.Reporting relationshipsPosition line reports to: Project Manager3.Main Tasks and Specific ResponsibilitiesHSE
  • Drive engineering solutions that promote safe, quality driven construction execution methods.
  • Actively participate in the KBR Zero Harm safety program
  • Lead project constructability program for all projects in the Khobar office.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, implement safety protocols, and lead incident investigations as needed.
  • Maintain environmental standards, including spill prevention and waste management, in line with local and international regulations.
  • Participate in safety inspections and audits of Contractor’s fabrication and erection facilities.
Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for oil and gas construction projects.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain project constructability registers through all project phases.
  • Identify project drivers through commissioning, procurement and engineering that support project constructability programs.
  • Identify optimum construction sequencing in brownfield environments to support tie-in or general construction work.
  • Ensure heavy lift and logistics requirements for brownfield work activities are included within the constructability program.
  • Identify construction solutions for maximising off-site fabrication for reducing site related hours.
  • Identify construction solutions in brownfield environments that minimise shutdown time to operations.
  • Participate in site surveys to identify resolutions for project constructability programs.
Team Leadership:
  • Manage and motivate on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project milestones.
  • Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability among project personnel.
  • Resolve conflicts and address performance issues promptly to maintain productivity.
Budget and Cost Control:
  • Monitor project expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage change orders to stay within budget.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting cost performance and forecasting.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and community stakeholders to address concerns and ensure project alignment with expectations.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Quality Assurance:
  • Oversee quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and commissioning of oil and gas infrastructure.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet industry standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI) and client specifications.
Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including schedule delays, supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical challenges.
  • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues, such as weather disruptions or equipment failures.

A master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.Minimum 15 years’ experience working in a greenfield construction background. At least 5 years’ experience in brownfield.Experience in Construction planning based on design drawings. Review of EPC schedule to ensure correct sequence and duration of construction activitiesDemonstrated ability to work with Engineering team and review of design drawings from constructability point of view.Provide input to Estimator & Scheduler for Construction Manhours and review construction labor estimateGood inter-personnel skills with ability to communicate clearly at all levels in English language.Excellent organizational skillsIntimate knowledge of and the ability to use Microsoft computer programs.DesirableFamiliar with Saudi Arabia code requirements.Familiar with Aramco Standards
