We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Leak Detection Technician to support our operations in Saudi Arabia. The technician will be responsible for identifying and reporting leaks in water supply systems using advanced tools and techniques. Candidates with prior experience in water treatment plants, pipelines, and municipal or industrial water systems are preferred.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site leak detection surveys on potable and non-potable water networks using acoustic and correlator equipment.Inspect, monitor, and assess pipelines, fittings, and water systems to detect signs of leakage, corrosion, or inefficiencies.Document and report leak findings with precise location, depth, and severity data.Coordinate with maintenance teams and water treatment engineers for timely repair and follow-up.Use GIS mapping systems, GPS, and mobile apps to log inspection data.Assist in condition assessments of underground pipelines and valves.Follow company safety procedures and quality standards at all times.Maintain and calibrate leak detection equipment and tools.Participate in scheduled maintenance and emergency repair operations.Prepare technical reports and summaries for management or clients.Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Technical CertificationMinimum 1-2 years of experience as a Leak Technician in Saudi Arabia, preferably in a water treatment or utility company.Familiar with leak detection technologies such as correlators, ground microphones, and noise loggers.Understanding of water distribution networks, valves, and pipeline systems.Ability to interpret utility maps, piping diagrams, and technical schematics.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Valid Saudi driving license (preferred).Familiar with local environmental and safety regulations.Preferred:
Experience working with major Saudi water authorities (e.g., NWC, SWCC, MODON).Arabic language skills (a plus).Transferable Iqama (for expats).
