- Design, develop, and program control systems (PLC, SCADA).
- Prepare functional specifications, control philosophies, and system architecture.
- Select appropriate hardware and software components based on project requirements.
- Develop, test, and implement PLC and SCADA programs.
- Configure HMI/SCADA interfaces for effective process visualization and control.
- Modify and optimize existing programs to improve system performance.
- Monitor and maintain existing control systems to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
- Diagnose and resolve control-related issues within plant processes.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems.
- Conduct system testing, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
- Lead or support commissioning and startup activities for new and upgraded systems.
- Ensure systems meet operational and performance requirements.
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to support plant activities.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure all control systems comply with relevant safety standards and company procedures.
- Follow and promote best practices in automation safety and cybersecurity.
- Maintain proper documentation for all systems and changes.
- Bachelors in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering.
- 10+ Years of experience in the Field of Control Systems with minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry is required.
- Working Experience on Siemens PLCs S7-200, 300,400, 1200, 1500, Siemens Step7 and TIA Portal Software. Experience with PCS 7 will be preferred
- Working Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and RSLogix 5000.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.) and Ladder, FBD and STL programming languages
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining control systems in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
- Experience with MS Office suite (Excel, Word) with MS 365 package.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including clear communication, teamwork, respect for colleagues, and ability to collaborate effectively and work under pressure.
