Job Summary:To perform electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for ambulance electrical systems and other specialized products, ensuring safe and reliable operation of all electrical components. This includes wiring, component assembly, equipment integration, and electrical testing in compliance with safety standards and ambulance regulations.
Job Detailed Responsibilities:
Executive/Technical (directly related to the work environment):
Electrical Installation and Wiring: Install and connect wiring, harnesses, switches, outlets, and control panels in ambulance interiors and associated specialized products. Ensure all connections meet electrical codes, design specifications, and safety standards.
Equipment Integration: Support the installation and wiring of ambulance systems such as medical outlets, sirens, lighting, HVAC units, inverters, and communication equipment.
Component Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct tests on electrical systems and components, including insulation integrity, voltage, and load capacity. Diagnose and repair faults in wiring, circuits, or components as required.
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance on installed electrical systems, including control panels, switches, wiring, and connectors, to ensure reliability.
Blueprint and Schematic Interpretation: Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to accurately assemble and connect electrical systems.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of completed electrical installations, tests, repairs, and modifications. Provide reports on issues encountered and suggest improvements.
Support in Special Projects: Assist in the development, prototyping, and installation of new electrical systems or upgrades for ambulances and related special products.
Qualifications:
Education:Essential: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field.
Preferred: Additional training in automotive or vehicle electrical systems.Experience:Essential: 2-3 years of experience as an industrial or automotive electrician in manufacturing or specialized product environments.
Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in vehicle electrical systems, ambulance conversions, telecom, or military products.
