Planning Engineer (Civil) - Riyadh, KSA

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules using project management software (like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project).

Tracking project progress against the schedule, identifying deviations, and developing mitigation strategies.

Optimizing resource allocation (personnel, materials, equipment) to ensure efficient project execution.

Identifying potential project risks, assessing their impact, and developing mitigation plans.

Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.

Implementing and managing change control processes to address scope changes or other modifications.

Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.

Ensuring project activities adhere to quality standards and contractual obligations.

Mentoring junior planning engineers and providing technical guidance.

Ensuring project schedules comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in civil engineering projects.
Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and scheduling principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

Additional Desirable Skills:

Experience with reinforced concrete (RC) projects.
Familiarity with specific project types (e.g., Buidlings, Hotels, infrastructure).
Experience with claims management.
