Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Carpenter to construct, repair, and assemble wooden and other material-based furniture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in woodworking techniques, knowledge of furniture design, and experience using various hand and power tools to deliver high-quality, custom or standard furniture pieces.⸻Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood or other materials to build furniture items such as tables, chairs, cabinets, beds, shelves, and more.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, or design plans.
  • Repair or refurbish existing furniture, including reassembly, refinishing, and structural reinforcement.
  • Operate hand tools (saws, chisels, planes) and power tools (drills, sanders, routers) safely and efficiently.
  • Select and source materials, including wood, laminates, hardware, and upholstery components.
  • Ensure all furniture items are completed to high-quality standards and meet client specifications.
  • Sand, polish, stain, or paint furniture surfaces as required.
  • Collaborate with designers, clients, or supervisors to finalize furniture styles and finishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols during construction and handling.
