Network Security Engineer - Immediately

• Configure and manage FortiGate firewalls for Internet and datacenter security.
• Enforce security policies including web filtering, file filtering, and application control.
• Implement and understand UTM profiles for threat protection against unauthorized access and malicious activity.
• Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for routing, switching of firewall related problems.
• Monitor traffic flows and optimize firewall rules to maintain network security.
• Understanding and ability to troubleshoot IPSec VPN tunnels in FortiGate Firewalls.

• Manage Forti Switches to ensure continuous network connectivity.
• Implement network segmentation using VLANs to enhance security and performance
• Understand and utilize FortiLink technology for centralized management from FortiGate firewalls.
• Monitor bandwidth usage and optimize traffic flow to ensure efficient network operation.

• Manage FortiAPs to provide secure, reliable wireless access across the organization.
• Configure wireless networks and security settings to protect against unauthorized access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues related to wireless network performance.

• Use ManageEngine OPManager for continuous network monitoring and performance analysis.
• Identify and resolve network issues proactively by analyzing traffic and system performance.
• Maintain network uptime and availability by performing regular checks and optimization.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance during non-peak hours to minimize disruption.
• Document network configurations, traffic flows, and identify bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements as needed
• Manage monthly patching for user endpoint operating systems and third-party applications.
• Monitor scheduled patching and prioritize patching based on security risks.
• Ensure that all endpoints are up-to-date and secure through effective patch management.
