- Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications.
- The overall responsibility for performing assigned Work Orders as well as any other tasks by the supervisor.
- Identify the root causes of major and repeating problems.
- Respond to all technical problems within the assigned area and making sure proper actions are identified and taken. (Knowledge on spare parts description, availability and required critical spare parts.)
- Effective communication for shift handover, work order feedback, production meetings, and activity coordination between other shifts
- Decision making on utilisation of spare parts, required corrective and preventive actions for breakdowns.
- Achieve and maintain the Line availability (Technical Efficiency) & Equipment readiness.
- Ensure proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities are in place and EHS targets are achieved.
- Operate and maintain all equipment related to utilities sections.
- Inspect, maintain and repair all utilities pipelines networks and components, including but not limited to, freshwater, oil, compressed air, nitrogen, greywater, etc.
- Supervise contracted labours during maintenance activities and follow safety and company standard.
- Daily shift reporting & Shutdown activities report preparation.
- Identify opportunities and support initiatives to improve production processes as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor in coordination with production personnel to improve quality, productivity, enhance safety or drive down costs.
- Support the execution of the site Maintenance and Reliability M&R Strategy to achieve World Class maintenance status.
- Execute and follow the assigned actions related to PEMM (PepsiCo Maintenance Methodology) tool and MIAP (Maintenance Improvement Action Plan).
- Support the implementation of Reliability Engineering tools and techniques to achieve Maintenance and Reliability M&R KPI's.
- Support executing Continuous Improvement CI initiatives and Failure Analysis techniques (e.g. Root Cause Analysis RCA).
- Attend the Maintenance forum meetings to share Maintenance Performance, Best Practices, Challenges and achievements.
- Maintain and implement AIB standards.
- Maintain accurate SAP-PM records and updates for all assigned Work Orders.
- Adhere to EHS and QFS policies and standards.
- Condition Monitoring tools application tactics execution and action plans closure.
- Adhere to and complete the necessary trainings through PepsiCo platforms.
- Actively participate in Resources Conservation initiatives and activities.
- To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the EHS Management System (MS) at area of responsibility in accordance to the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS standards, ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas are in place and EHS targets are achieved.
- Performs required daily parameters reading and monitoring and as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications:
- Mechanical safety standards awareness.
- Maintenance Planning & execution system.
- Can read and understand plans, diagrams, layouts and schematic drawings (in the field of qualification).
- Experience with troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc.).
- Experience with reading mechanical drawings (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics).
- Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings).
- Experience with pneumatics/air compression (e.g., valves, cylinders, etc.).
- Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns).
- Knowledge in any Maintenance Management software (CMMS) is a plus is preferred.
- Has good command of English language (Reading, Writing and Speaking).
- Have Quality and Food Safety QFS systems and policies knowledge.
- Environment, Health and Safety EHS systems and policies knowledge and system basic awareness.
- Knowledgeable in SAP system
- Able to do basic electro mechanical works independently.
- Experience with hydraulic systems (high pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, troubleshooting).
- Malfunctions and technical trouble shooting ability.
- Can lead modifications and small projects
- A team player with good collaboration and communications skills.
- Have leadership skills, can support and motivate others and interact with different departments.
- Flexible in tolerating to changes and accepting new ideas and analytical thinker
- Can coordinate with suppliers and contractors for requested parts and works with RFQ.
- Self-Motivation and Positive Attitude
- Have knowledge about principle of operation and maintenance of compressors, pumps, motors, etc.
- Able to do mechanical works independently & support
- Have good command in English language (written & spoken)
- Have a general knowledge and ability to use computers (MS office applications).
- Work independently under limited supervision (self-management)
- Drive for Improvement & maintain housekeeping
- Understanding the Automated equipment’s operational methodology & principles.
