Dear AllWe are looking for Lead Electrical Engineer with Minimum 10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a Lead role on Saudi Aramco or GCC-based LSTK/EPC oil and gas projects, to manage the electrical engineering scope for a Saudi Aramco LSTK project involving the relocation of water wells. The project includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of submersible pump systems along with associated piping, electrical, and instrumentation & control systems.The Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical engineering design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities are executed in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and international best practices.Key Responsibilities:? Lead and manage the Electrical engineering team through all project phases: design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.? Review detailed electrical design deliverables from Engineering design Contractor, including single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, grounding layouts, lighting layouts, MCC/DB design, and motor starter configurations.? Evaluate electrical equipment such as MV/LV switchgear, transformers, VFDs, soft starters, power cables, submersible pump motors, and associated protection systems.? Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES) and International Codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.).? Coordinate closely with mechanical, civil, and I&C disciplines to ensure complete integration of electrical systems for submersible pump operations and associated infrastructure.? Oversee vendor selection, technical bid evaluations, and ensure timely equipment procurement in line with project schedule.? Provide technical support during factory acceptance testing (FAT), site installation, pre-commissioning, and final commissioning.? Supervise and support site electrical activities ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion.? Interface with Saudi Aramco engineers, construction contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and secure design approvals.? Ensure timely delivery of all electrical documentation and as-built drawings.Qualifications and Experience:? Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.? Minimum 10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a Lead role on Saudi Aramco or GCC-based LSTK/EPC oil and gas projects.? Proven experience with submersible pump power systems, remote wellhead power distribution, motor control systems, and power protection.? Strong understanding of hazardous area classification, earthing/bonding systems, and power system studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, etc.).? Solid knowledge of Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), SATIP, SAIC, and 09-SER documents.? Hands-on experience in site supervision and commissioning of electrical systems in oilfield or remote well environments.? Proficiency in using design tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, Microstation and cable sizing software.Preferred Skills:? Experience with SCADA integration and I&C interface for well sites.? Previous involvement in brownfield well relocation or similar water injection/well recovery projects.? Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills in a multicultural project environment.?
