Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sustainability Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable solutions that align with our organization's environmental goals and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and life cycle analyses for various projects
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient strategies to reduce carbon footprint and operational costs
  • Create and maintain sustainability reports, tracking key performance indicators and progress towards goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of the organization
  • Manage sustainability projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in resource consumption and waste reduction
  • Stay up-to-date with local and international sustainability regulations and best practices
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on green building standards and certifications
  • Develop and deliver sustainability training programs for employees and stakeholders
  • Evaluate and recommend sustainable technologies and materials for implementation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sustainability engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in sustainability software such as SimaPro or GaBi
  • Strong knowledge of green building standards (e.g., LEED, BREEAM)
  • Excellent project management and data analysis skills
  • Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments and life cycle analyses
  • Proficiency in energy modeling and sustainability reporting
  • Understanding of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and its sustainability goals
  • Familiarity with local environmental regulations and sustainability practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional certifications such as LEED AP or CEM preferred
